The release date, announced by Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive, follows a delay from an initial 2025 window to ensure additional polish, as stated by a Take-Two executive to IGN: “As we get closer to completion of a title that’s seeking perfection, the needs for continued polish become clear.”
