Gospel music icon Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, widely known as KODA, will be laid to rest on Friday, September 20, 2024.
The funeral service will be held at the KICC Dominion Centre, located on Spintex Road near the Coca-Cola Roundabout in Accra.
KODA, who passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2024, left a rich legacy in Ghana’s gospel music scene. His unique musical style, blending deep spirituality with vibrant rhythms, touched many.
Among his popular songs are “Hosanna,” “Nsem Pii,” “Made a Way,” and “Aseda.” These tracks, filled with heartfelt worship and praise, remain anthems in many churches across Ghana.
Family and loved ones will gather to celebrate his life, with attendees asked to wear all-white, symbolizing a celebration of his spiritual journey and peaceful rest in Christ.
Even in death, KODA’s influence endures. His songs continue to inspire worship and uplift the faith of many, leaving a lasting legacy that will resonate for years to come.
