President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana has arrived in Cairo for the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
The ceremony will be held under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, with many world leaders, kings, and dignitaries in attendance.

Overlooking the Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum is the world’s largest archaeological museum, celebrating over 5,000 years of Egyptian civilisation.

President Mahama arrived in the company of his Executive Secretary, Dr Callistus Mahama, and the Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, Stan Xoese Dogbe.
