A Ghanaian highlife singer, Dada Kwaku Dua, widely known in showbiz as Dada KD, has passed away. He was preparing for a concert in London prior to his death.
His manager, King Pee, confirmed his death to the media.
King Pee says Dada KD fell sick on Friday, May 16, 2025 and was unable to talk.
He says the musician was rushed to the Gbabwe SDA Hospital in Accra, the capital of Ghana, but died on Friday evening.
Dada KB had prior to his death, been rehearsing for a show in London which is scheduled for May 25, 2025.
The late Dada KD Dada, is known for songs such as ‘Odo Mu Anigye’, ‘Ene Me Nye’, ‘Yebeye Yen Ho Fi’, ‘So Mu Gye’, ‘Obiaa Se Eye’, among others.
