President John Dramani Mahama has said that Ghana’s late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, will be accorded a state burial.
He made the announcement on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 when he visited the Ridge residence of the Rawlings family to commiserate with them on her passing.
According to him, “We will work closely with the family. Once we know the dates, we will organize a programme, and the state will give her the full honours that she deserves.”
Nana Konadu died at the Ridge Hospital in Accra on Thursday, October 23, 2025, age 76.
