As part of its mandate to provide consular services to nationals including those in distress, the Government of Ghana has facilitated the return of a number of Ghanaians from Tel Aviv and Cambodia.
The individuals which include some members of staff of the Embassy of Ghana in Tel Aviv arrived in Ghana on Thursday, 19th March, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
They were received on arrival on behalf of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) by the Coordinating Director for Multilateral and International Organisations, Ambassador Francis Danti Kotia.
Welcoming them, the Coordinating Director stressed the unwavering commitment of government to ensure the protection and welfare of Ghanaians and added that the facilitation provided to ensure their return to Ghana forms part of broader effort to respond to the needs of citizens.
