Ghana’s Eastern North Regional Police Command has arrested two persons for allegedly possessing narcotic drugs.
Police in a news release on Friday night, November 14, 2025, identified the suspects as Yaw Ntoso, and Perpetual Ayitey.

According to the release, the suspects were caught “possessing narcotic drugs at Amankwakrom on the main Agordeke-Donkorkrom motor road on 13th November, 2025.”

It says preliminary Investigations revealed that, a snap check team intercepted a Kia Bongo Truck driven by one Yaw Ntoso, a thorough search conducted by the officers led to the discovery of three (3) white sacks containing one hundred and thirty-five (135) compressed slabs of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa, a narcotic drug, wrapped in yellowish cellotapes and twenty-one (21) oval-shaped parcels of similar substances.

Suspects are currently in police custody assisting investigations and will be put before the court.
