The Wa High Court in the Upper West Region of Ghana has sentenced Elisha Mahama Akpanichie, the killer of Jirapa Dubai CEO to life imprisonment.
It would be recalled that on February 11, 2024, Elisha killed Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel in the Upper West Region, also known as Jirapa Dubai.
After the brutal killing, the convict escaped, forcing the police to launch an immediate, intelligence-led operation that led to his arrest in the Central Region.
Following the trial of the Wa High Court presided over by Justice Alhaji Yussif Assibey, the court found him guilty of murder and accordingly sentenced him to life imprisonment to be served at the Ankaful Maximum Security Prison.
