A bold new culinary movement is taking shape as the Gastro Feastival: “Table of 8 – The Food Conversations: From Farm to Feast” officially begins its rollout.

With just days to go, anticipation is building for the event expected to reshape how Ghanaians engage with food, farming, and agribusiness.

Set for Farmers’ Day Weekend (December 5–6, 2025), the festival will take over The Palms Convention Centre at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, transforming the venue into what organizers describe as a “vibrant culinary wonderland.” The initiative comes from Charterhouse Productions, the creative force behind many of Ghana’s major entertainment events, now venturing into a groundbreaking celebration of food, culture, and innovation.

Billed as a “feast of a festival,” the Gastro Feastival aims to reconnect Ghanaians with the land, highlight agribusiness opportunities, and elevate national conversations around food.

The premiere episode, hosted by Enyonam Manye (The Ghanaian Farmer), opened with an in-depth exploration of cassava, referred to during the program as Ghana’s overlooked “white gold.”

The panel featured a diverse lineup of guests, including Farmer Abeiku Whyte of Farmers Market and Hobby Farms; Charity Adupong, Agro-Processor and founder of Meannan Foods; Esther Kyerewaa Twumasi of the Kosmos Innovation Centre; social media personality and foodie Ameyaw Debrah; Kojo Aidoo of FrontBack and the Accra Bar Show; Charterhouse CEO Theresa Ayoade, the festival’s convenor; and PaJohn, who served as host.

The evening combined rich conversation, culinary insights, and lively interaction, with ingredients supplied by Farmers Market and Meannan Foods—setting the tone for what organizers say will be a transformational celebration of Ghana’s evolving food culture.
