A third year university student studying financial management, Diamala Marie-Emmanuelle, has won the 2024 edition of the annual Miss Cote D’Ivoire beauty pageant.
The grand finale of this year’s Miss Cote D’Ivoire beauty contest was held on Saturday night, June 29.
Aged 20, Marie-Emmanuelle – who was contestant number 21 – represented South Comoé.
She beat competitions from several other beautiful contestants on the night to grab the coveted crown.
This year’s pageant which is the 28th edition of the prestigious beauty contest which focused on the emancipation of Ivorian women with the main question of “What does the young Ivorian woman expect from the State for her personal development?”
The new Ivorian beauty queen, Diamala Marie-Emmanuelle, 3rd year Finance Management student at an English-speaking University, succeeds Mylène Djihony and intends to establish herself as a fervent symbol of the fight against maternal mortality during her reign.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old Coulibaly Fatoumata who represented Gontougo, was elected first runner-up, while
23-year-old Konan Maulani, elected 2nd runner-up.
