FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, has suggested that Portugal and Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, could play in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, starting in June.

As things stand, Ronaldo will not be part of the Club World Cup because Al Nassr have failed to qualify for the tournament. Only one team from Saudi Pro League, Al Hilal are participating in the Club World Cup.

But speaking to American YouTuber and streamer, IShowSpeed recently, Infantino says “There are discussions” for Ronaldo to play at the Club World Cup in the US.

According to Infantino, “Ronaldo might play for one of the teams as well at the Club World Cup.”

The FIFA President added that “Yeah, Cristiano Ronaldo might play in the Club World Cup, yeah. There are discussions with some clubs, so if any club is watching and is interested in hiring Ronaldo for the Club World Cup…who knows, who knows.”
