Chelsea Football Club have reportedly opened talks to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Chelsea are in desperate need of a striker due to the inconsistency of Nicolas Jackson who has led the forward line for the Blues in the past two seasons. L’Equipe confirmed the news of Kolo Muani’s proposed move to Chelsea on its official website on Sunday, June 21, 2025.
Muani, who is currently on loan at Juventus, is also wanted by the Serie A club. The Old Lady were permitted to extend the loan deal of the 26-year-old so he could participate in the FIFA Club World Cup.
However, Juventus are hopeful that they can agree on another paid loan with an achievable purchase option to keep him permanently.
Randal Kolo Muani has found the net 10 times in 20 appearances for Juventus during the 2024-25 season (on loan from PSG).
Chelsea are also interested in former PSG striker Hugo Ekitiké of Eintracht Frankfurt, but just like with Muani, they are yet to begin real talks with the player.
