Cameroon News Agency (CNA) has issued an alert, saying the whereabout of its Editor, Ngala Hans, remains unknown 48 hours after he participated in a journalism program in South Africa.
In an alert shared on its official Facebook page, CNA lamented that “We have lost contact with our Editor, Ngala Hans, for 48 hours.”
The Agency says “He participated in a journalism program in South Africa and was scheduled to travel to Cameroon according to his shared itinerary.”
According to CNA, “Hans was expected to be in Cameroon based on his travel plans shared with the newsroom.”
The News Agency says “A visitor to his residence did not find him there,” adding that “There is also no indication of his presence in South Africa.”
It noted that “We remain hopeful that he is alive and free.”
