BUTALEJA, UGANDA – The 10th edition of the Batalo Dance Festival brought a vibrant celebration of cultural heritage and contemporary dance to Butaleja this December. Held under the theme “Cultural Preservation and Traditional Meets Urban,” the festival showcased the rich tapestry of Ugandan dance traditions while embracing modern influences.
