Amerado to host ‘My Motherland’ concert in December

Rapper Amerado will headline his own concert dubbed, “My Motherland”, scheduled to come off at Okese Park, Ejisu in the Ashanti Region on Thursday, December 28 at 7:00pm.

 

Known for his exceptional lyrical prowess and captivating performances, Amerado, who is the reigning VGMA Best Rapper of the Year has undoubtedly become a household name. His latest hit song, Kwaku Ananse keeps soaring.

 

Hence, the upcoming “My Motherland Concert” marks a significant milestone in his career as he takes the stage to celebrate his journey and connect with fans from his home region in a live performance.

 

“The feeling is always different when you go back home and that is why I chose Ejisu for my maiden concert. This is a special moment for me, and I can’t wait to share it with my fans.

 

“Patrons should expect an electrifying performance, special guests, and an unforgettable night celebrating our love for music and the motherland. It means a lot to my career especially when I see it as an appreciation token to my people for the love and support,” he stated.

 

Amerado also appealed for sponsorship to hold a befitting maiden concert. “I want to use this medium to appeal for sponsorship. My team and I can’t do it without financial support,” he said.

 

Since breaking onto the music scene in 2018, Amerado, real name Derrick Sarfo Kantanka has been adding up to his collections with good tunes such as Twa So, Box Of Memories, I Am, Format, Juju, Taxi Driver, Redemption, Don’t Call Me King, Best Rapper, Lockoff, Indelible Flow among others.

 

In October last year, he released his maiden G.I.N.A album. Some of the songs on the 10-track album recorded by sound engineers Two Bars, Tubhani, ItzJoeBeatz and ItzCJ Madeit were Nyame Dada, No Stress, Grace, Got You, Pay Me and 666.
