Africa-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2024 Begins Today, Dangote To Deliver Keynote Address

The Africa-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF) 2024 is kicking off today in The Bahamas.

The Forum themed: “Owning Our Destiny: Economic Prosperity on the Platform of Global Africa”, is seeking to forge significant pathways for economic prosperity between Africa and the Caribbean.

Speakers for the high-profile Forum include Heads of State from seven Caribbean nations, former Prime Ministers, Ministers of Trade, Economic Development and Finance, business leaders including Africa’s billionaire industrialist Aliko Dangote.

Mr. Dangote is to deliver a keynote address at the Forum which is taking place at the Grand Hyatt, Baha Mar Convention Center Nassau, The Bahamas.

Other keynote speakers for the Forum are: Dr. Irfan Ali, President of Guyana and Chairperson of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Mr. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, Philip E.B. Davis, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Professor Benedict Oramah, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Afreximbank.
