FC Barcelona Extends Major Sponsorship Deal with Spotify Until 2030

FC Barcelona and Spotify have extended their partnership agreement until 2030, the club officially announced on Thursday. The long-term deal ensures the audio streaming giant will continue to feature prominently on the club’s apparel, maintaining visibility on the men’s and women’s first-team jerseys as well as the training kits.

The extension is a massive financial and strategic boost for the Catalan giants.

Key Details of the Extended Agreement

The collaboration, which initially began three years ago, now secures Spotify’s connection to the club through the end of the decade. The agreement also confirms that Spotify will retain the naming rights for the iconic Camp Nou stadium until 2034, aligning the partnership with the completion of the extensive stadium renovation project.

In a statement, Barcelona emphasized the mutual benefits of the deal:

“Both Barça and Spotify are global brands with hundreds of millions of fans worldwide. This partnership enables both brands to expand their presence in strategic markets and create shared synergies with an international reach, connecting with new audiences and consolidating their global outlook.”

Shaping a New Era

The renewed partnership is viewed as a crucial step for Barcelona, providing stability as the club focuses on its future. The timing is particularly significant, coinciding with the impending reopening of the Spotify Camp Nou and the rise of the club’s young talent.

“With the reopening of the Spotify Camp Nou on the horizon and an excellent generation of young talent, FC Barcelona and Spotify look towards the future together to shape a new and promising era for the club and its global community.”

The continuation of the sponsorship solidifies the club’s long-term commercial strategy, pairing Barcelona’s legacy in global football with Spotify’s reach in digital entertainment and music.
