An eight-year-old girl has lost her life on a SkyWest flight while she was traveling with her parents for vacation.
The little girl named Sydney Weston, her brother and parents were traveling from Missouri to Chicago when she died.
SkyWest airlines officials were reported by local media as saying the girl became ill and then unresponsive, forcing the flight to make an emergency landing.
The coroner was quoted Daily Mail as saying “her family immediately notified the flight personnel of her condition, and they began rapidly rendering aid.”
First-responders met the late Sydney Weston at the General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport after the plane landed but the girl was not breathing and had no pulse, the coroner reportedly said.
