At least 11 people have reportedly drown following a boat capsize in the Oti Region of Ghana.
Five others have been reported missing while six people were rescued.
The tragic incident occurred on the Oti River.
The boat is said to have taken off from Dambai and was heading towards Njari,a farming and fishing community in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region.
Four women and baby girl who were rescued, reports say, were rushed to the intensive care unit at the Dambai Health Center.
