At least 10 people have been killed and several others injured after a former student of an Austrian secondary school carried out a gun attack at the school.
Local media reports say those killed are students, including the shooter and one adult.

Reports say the incident happened just before 10:00 local time on Tuesday at the Dreierschützengasse high school in Austria’s second-biggest city of Graz.

Photos shared online showed that police have secured the school and a major police operation is under way

Reports said the identity of the perpetrator is still unknown. Local media report he is a former student of the school.

The Chancellor of Austria, Christian Stocker has called the shooting a “national tragedy.”
He says there were no words for the pain and grief Austria is feeling.
