His remarks follow recent violent anti-tax protests across Kenya which left several protesters dead.
President Ruto noted the significance of upholding democratic principles and the rule of law, observing the need to prioritize national interests over political affiliations.
Meanwhile, President Ruto disclosed plans to elevate Kipchoge Stadium to a modern status in tribute to Kenya’s accomplished athletes.
He also pledged to ensure proper planning to align facilities with Eldoret’s new city status.
