Mr Eazi’s co-founded company, Pawapay reaches historic 1 billion transactions

Pawapay, a UK-based Africa-focused payments company co-founded by Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi, has hit a historic one billion transactions.

Pawapay achieved the milestone in three-and-a-half year.

In a tweet, Mr Eazi expressed his excitement about his company’s achievement.

He noted that he was “proud to be part of the founding team and investors in Pawapay.io. Today we become the fastest private company in history to reach 1bn transactions (3.5 years). It took PayPal 5 years, Stripe 7 years.”

PawaPay provides one API and one dashboard to integrate mobile money across Africa into your payment processes, the company says on its official website.
