Kunle Afolayan’s thriller “Recall” premieres at AFRIFF November

Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has revealed the official poster for his upcoming movie, “Recall,” set to premiere at the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) on November 7, 2024.

 

Selected for the 13th edition of AFRIFF (November 3-9, 2024), “Recall” is a psychological thriller starring Sharon Ooja and other talented actors.

 

The film follows Goke and Anita’s complex love story, set against the vibrant backdrop of Lagos.

 

Afolayan shared his excitement on Instagram: “So excited to unveil the official poster for “RECALL,” Kunle Afolayan’s latest psychological thriller, set to premiere at AFRIFF on November 7th! The festival showcases dramatic, documentary, feature, and short films from African and diasporan talents.

 

Since 2010, AFRIFF has launched hundreds of critically acclaimed films, including “Breath of Life” and “Funmilayo Ransome Kuti.”

 

This year’s theme, “Africans for Africa; Building Global Bridges,” aims to foster valuable exchanges, production connections, and business relationships.
