An accident has occurred on the Tema-bound side of the Accra-Tema motorway involving a Toyota Tundra, a Benz 207 passenger vehicle, and a trailer truck.
The Toyota Tundra allegedly from the office of the president, was being driven by a mechanic.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning around 8 am.
Several individuals in the vehicles sustained minor injuries.
The accident resulted in a traffic jam on the motorway, forcing vehicles to use the shoulder of the road towards Tema.
The driver of the Toyota Tundra reported that he had stopped to ask for directions to Toyota Ghana when the trailer truck hit his vehicle from behind.
The impact caused his vehicle to veer off into the left lane, where it collided with the Benz 207 passenger vehicle.
