The quadruplet daughters

In a remarkable and rare occurrence, a Louisiana couple has welcomed quadruplet daughters, all conceived naturally without fertility treatments. The quadruplets, born on November 20, are also a rare set of two identical twin pairs.
Farrah Larry, 29, gave birth to Lyric, Paisley, Psalm, and Fallyn via cesarean section at around 32 weeks pregnant. The babies weighed around 4 pounds each at birth and spent a few weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit before being discharged home.
The couple, who already have a 2-year-old son, PJ, were shocked when they discovered they were expecting quadruplets. “I was laughing and crying at the same time,” Farrah told PEOPLE. “My husband was about to pass out.”
The odds of conceiving quadruplets naturally are extremely low, estimated to be around one in 750,000 to one in a million. Dr. Jane Chueh, a professor and director of prenatal diagnosis at Stanford Children’s Health, described the birth as “quite a feat” for the parents.
The couple is adjusting to life with five children, with Farrah putting her transportation business on hold to become a full-time parent. The family is grateful for the support of their loved ones and community, with Farrah’s mother setting up a GoFundMe page to help with expenses.
Despite the challenges, the Larrys are thrilled to welcome their new additions. “Clearly God has a plan for these girls,” Farrah said. “We’ve just got to trust Him.”
